I feel really foolish and shit house. i just spent like 3 hrs on the phone. Stupid. I have an exam tomorrow and i've already failed the subject once. and potentially if i studied hard enough i could scrape through. but i'm too tired... *feels incredibly stupid*

*BIG FAT HUGGLES TIME*
:D
My essay. is hanging in there. I get so distracted. I turn 21 this year, well in 6 months, but I'm already thinking ( freaking) about what I should do for my 21st. That helsps me get pass time so much. I figured out what invites I want to make. but it will be a lot of work. I'll take a pic/ scan for you one day :)
Anyhow, mum and I are not of identical thought in where I should hold the party. She wants me to hold it at Church. I want to hold it at home. you see, Church is rent free, and free use of furniture, yada yada, as long as its left in the condition it was before you borrowed it. The only thing is that its really loud, in there, and the hall, is big, but not big enough for the number of people and milling about I'd love. On the other hand, my house doesn't have an area equiavalent to that size either. but chances are, if the weather permits, I can fit 40 people around the area near the pool and 40 up on the tiled patio. So waht to do? What to do?
Overall, its probably more economical to have it at a church hall. I'd love it at home provided it doesn't rain and screw things up ( that really would, but hey its summer when I'm planning to celebrate); so I'm at a loss of what to do.

oh , don't worry about friends :) they come and go :) but you have to work at keeping them. Life is bewildering in that aspect. :) I made heaps of friends in my first yr of university but at times I really struggle to keep the ones I've made in high school. The key is to keep in touch. Even if its once in a long while or takes a phone call. Its worth it :)
My friends from high school have gone very different ways. 2 are in america on scholarship, and everytime they're back in sydney we ring up for group meets. one is interstate, so i ahve to ring her, the other is studying teaching and is so heavily involved with church I never see her, we have a thing where we email each other for updates, my other good friend is studying law, so its so hard to hear from her, so you're not the only one who has friends that go to different paths :) But its something to cherish, when you get older, its rarely you get that much time to spend with the same people :) Unless you're lucky :) I set up a blogger account for the girls from my school and its good to hear how we're all going, even though some of our lives are more boring than others ( that would be mine!! ) :)

awww man. sounds like u need a *hugs*
congrats on passing your oracle exam :) Making me feel hopelessly ignorant :Þ
Was really funny last night. My brother's friend is an electrical engineering student, and needed somehelp to plug some numbers in excel and create a graph. He had never done it before. Anyhow, I failed to recall that * is the sign for multiplification and was stupefied when I put in x and it didn't work!!!! Anyhow, I was really rusty in it, I very rarely use excel and its only to create somehting simple because I hate ( and don't do) maths and when i learnt it, I was just copying things out of hand outs so I dont' have a lot of working practice in it. He said "aren't you suipposed to know how to use this? you did it right? " at which point i was seething since, I was helping him with his assignment work which I didn't have to, and I got home pretty late, and did have other things I would have liked to do, and since he didn't have a clue I thought it was rather rude to say so. Althought it does have some truth to it. I should know how to use it : ) Never bite the hand that feeds you. Cos he would be screwed if he had to sit there figuring it out the basis. And his percentage distortion was screwed because he got the numbers wrong. heh. it feels odd to be helping an engineering student, esp since I have a huge amount of respect for the my friends who are studying engineering at my university because most of them are extremely hard working an intelligent. I wonder about the ones from his university :)
